THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALLLLL BEEN WAITING FOR
July 05, 2009
My Family
If you want to know about the reunion im sure you can visit any blog in my family. On this post I want to talk about what I have realized in these couple weeks.
My life is full of ups and downs and loopy loops. Sometimes I am amazed at how hard certain things can be, but with all those challenges I always seem to find something better that makes me forget about all the hard challenges. My family is that something better. They have ways to make me smile real big and keep me happy.
Being with my brothers and sisters have, sometimes, been... odd. Everyone has a couple now!! Every time we would go swimming, snorkeling, or even walking at DisneyWorld my brothers and sisters would grab their spouses hand and walk, or swim, away. At that point I would wonder who I should follow and annoy! But also I would think of how jealous I was. I can't wait to hold that special girls hand and go on adventures and have more fun than ever before. I can't wait to marry my wife and live hapily ever after!
Anyways I LOVE my brothers and sisters. I LOVE my mother and father. I LOVE my best friend in this world.

Sneak Peak
Good morning brothers and sisters. I was asked today to give a talk on the steps I am taking to prepare for a mission. I am only 3 years 6 days 18 hours 14 minutes and 52 seconds away from going on my mission, give or take an hour or so…. But that time is flying by brothers and sisters and now is when we need to start to prepare. Today I will talk about 4 major things we all can do to prepare for a mission.
The first thing is PHYSICAL PREPERATION. Missionaries get physically tested almost every day from riding bikes up big hills or walking from one door to another. It requires good health, stamina, and strength. Missionaries have to rise early and work hard until late at night.
But physical preparation does not just include being fit. As much as you beg and plead, your mother cannot go on the mission with you. Without her we need to learn how to cook and clean. We need to learn how to patch clothing, wash and iron our shirts, press our pants, and shine our shoes. Don’t forget we need to learn how to wake up from an alarm clock!
Money is also a big issue. Right now we need to start saving for our missions and learn how to create and follow a budget.
The second thing is MENTAL PREPERATION. When we go to school what do we think about? Do we think about how we can’t wait to go home to watch our favorite T.V. show? Maybe we think about the cute guy or girl in our 2nd hour class. Whatever it is I would like suggest a better idea. When we go to school we should think about our future. Education is an important step to preparing for our missions and ultimately preparing for our career and family life. We need to study hard and try our best to succeed.
Reading the Scriptures can benefit you for your whole life. Ezra Taft Benson once said: “the Book of Mormon will change your life. It will fortify you against the evils of our day. It will bring a spirituality into your life that no other book will. It will be the most important book you will read in preparation for a mission and for life. A young man who knows and loves the Book of Mormon, who has read it several times, who has an abiding testimony of its truthfulness, and who applies its teachings will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil and will be a mighty tool in the hands of the Lord”.
The next thing is SOCIAL PREPERATION. Many people get nervous going up to strangers and spreading the word of god. We need to gain faith in ourselves and in our lord. In D&C 100:5-6 it says: Therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voices unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put into your hearts, and you shall not be confounded before men; For it shall be given you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment, what ye shall say. We can practice this by being missionaries to the people around you. Joseph Smith once said, “ After all that has been said, the greatest and most important duty is to preach the gospel.“ By teaching your friends and neighbors you will gain confidence and faith in the lord.
You also need to learn to follow all rules. The mission is filled with rules. You will be spending 24/7 with your companion. You need to learn to get along and respect others.
The last thing I will be talking about today is SPIRITUAL PREPERATION. Missionaries must be in tune with the spirit of the lord. We must learn to follow the guidance of the holy ghost. We can do this by following these few steps:
Keep your life clean- Strive to stay clean in your thoughts and actions. Dirty thoughts is satins most powerful tool that he uses against you. It will only bring you down and scare the spirit away.
Prayer- Make sure to prey throughout the day. D&C 19: 28 says And again, I command thee that thou shalt prey vocally as well as in thy heart; yea, before the world as well as in secret, in public as well as in private.
Keep the commandments and honor the priesthood- This will bring you happiness and joy throughout your life. You will be blessed as a missionary and as a child of god.
These 4 steps I have taught you will better prepare you for a mission and your future life.

"Disaster, looked like a cyclone went through it."
A couple days ago, when looking at some blog posts I was interrupted by my father. He was wondering why my room looked the way it did. After shrugging my shoulders and giving him a smart comment such as "I don't know, cause I live in there," he told me to hurry up and clean it. I explained to him that I was getting involved and was on my blog. He told me that I should show the real side of Sean with my messy room, soooo that's what i will be doing today:)
Today you will be seeing my room. I will give before and after pictures:) Some might call this clean, some might call this alright, but others call this a disaster.
This is my room, i went camping this weekend. That is not good news!!! Also, my bed thats suppsosed to be made every day.
A whole bunch of clothes and i see a history book!!
But BAM!!!! This is what it usual looks like. (wink wink)
Well there you go. A dirty room turned clean. But till next time THANKS FOR COMMENTING!!!!

Sean vs. Wild
Saturday, February 7Th i Journeyed out for the survival of the fittest, for the test of bravery and strength. Me and the wild, Me vs. the wild. I started by driving through the grasslands of mid Florida. As exited as i look i know that soon ahead will be trials that will test me in every way possible.
When i arrive at my destination this is the first thing i see..The beginning of my problems. But one little sign cannot stop me from fulfilling my duty.
I head out to the water to find some food for the night. I keep my eyes open for those gators and walk around the grasslands in search.
Another hole. This is too small for me to sleep in. It is too big for a snake and too small for most other things. It probably fits raccoons or skunks.
This is Poky Pear. I almost stepped in this!! Poky Pear has sharp needles. Also they have tiny hairs that are so small you can hardly see them! If they get stuck in your hands than it will hurt and burn! it is very hard to get off.
After finding my way home the first thing i did was sleep.
I AM A SURVIVOR Man

St. Augestine, FL
After the fabulous lunch we headed down to the Military Museum, one of the best i have ever been to. It was filled with real trucks, tanks, jeeps, RPG's, guns, bombs, and much much more!!!
After the EXITING museum we went to the not so exiting Holocaust museum. I did like learning more about what happened during that time of world trouble but there were no artifacts. I am like a kid, without the real things left over from the holocaust it is just boring. To end the museum there was an original train cart that held over 160 passengers, now that was cool and it ended the tour very well.
When we got to the front of the mall we walked right through a pelican feeding station...BAD IDEA!!! The pelicans waited until we were in reaching distance until they took off....RIGHT IN OUR FACES!! If you have not seen a pelican before than ill just fill you in.....
Wingspan of a pelican..around 6 1/2 feet
The pouch on the beak can hold 17 pints of water...i don't know how big that is but it is probably about the size of my head!!!
height..4 feet high
so than we went to dinner with all the super bowl maniacs and had a blast. BTW the whole city was filled with Steelers fans the whole day and there were parties glore:) some big some small. THANKS FOR COMMENTING!!!!

This is my room. There is the closet and my two dresser drawers. I love to have windows in my room....epecailly when there is a breeze.
This is another picture of my room. M desk and my bed.... and by the way the wall paper is the same color:)
This is our family room. The kitchen is to the left and the pool is to the right. This is an arial view from the play room upstairs.
