When it rains, it pores, and when it pores in Florida, we get tornado warnings

Thats right, there is a tornado in progess just a couple miles from Ocala. Today has been a good day? I would say no. I go to school thinking its just another stormy day with wonderfull lightning! (Ocala is thunderstorm capitol of the world after all!) Within two hours of being at school we were informed by the today show that OCALA is under a tornado warning! We skipped past the watch part and went straight to the warning! It got exciting! The rain was poring and it was my first real natural disaster!!
After a few moments of excitment I turned back to the TV just to see Al Roker show a live clip of the storm!! I saw the swirling of the dark clouds and i freaked! All of a sudden we could not leave our class! We were trapped! They shipped in some lunch from the surrounding schools, (because we dont have a lunchroom) and we ate inside! Not so bad right? WRONG! I ended up buying my free lunch consisting of Penut Butter and Jelly, Sun Chips, and Chocolate Milk! The chips were great, the milk was delicious, but the sandwich was frozen!! It was completely unbelieveable! After a bite or two the cement like penut butter did not satisfy my hunger. An idea popped in my mind and i headed down to the Teachers Lounge! The teachers who loved me heated up my food and it wasn't so bad after all!
After lunch i tried checking out, but failed becuase they did not allow it with the bad weather! Go figure.. So here I am now, sitting on the computer, trapped at my school, wondering when the tornado will shut off the power, causing me to lose my work:) As long as my truck doesn't get scratched!

On the contrary, I have a phone interview tomorrow for Lockheed Martin. I am going to be an intern! I can't wait!

Oh! while typing this blog post i overheard many of the conversations of people walking by.. the list includes

"I hope Gator Nationals won't be canceled!"
"This water will be great for going mudding this weekend!"
"I was in a tornado once, it totally took down my house, ya i jumped out the door just in time!"

Hmmmm.. some odd people! I guess I missed the part about them being worried of their families:)

My Family

For over a month now i have had the great privilege of being with all the people I love most. Right when school ended I flew over to Utah and visited my family and my best of best friends. A couple days after my trip all my Brothers and sisters came to visit me and my family in Florida for a Family Reunion. I also got to visit my cousins and my aunts and uncles.
If you want to know about the reunion im sure you can visit any blog in my family. On this post I want to talk about what I have realized in these couple weeks.
My life is full of ups and downs and loopy loops. Sometimes I am amazed at how hard certain things can be, but with all those challenges I always seem to find something better that makes me forget about all the hard challenges. My family is that something better. They have ways to make me smile real big and keep me happy.
Being with my brothers and sisters have, sometimes, been... odd. Everyone has a couple now!! Every time we would go swimming, snorkeling, or even walking at DisneyWorld my brothers and sisters would grab their spouses hand and walk, or swim, away. At that point I would wonder who I should follow and annoy! But also I would think of how jealous I was. I can't wait to hold that special girls hand and go on adventures and have more fun than ever before. I can't wait to marry my wife and live hapily ever after!
Anyways I LOVE my brothers and sisters. I LOVE my mother and father. I LOVE my best friend in this world.

13 days

So thirteen is a big number for me today. There is only thirteen days til school ends! Also there is only 13 days til i head back home to Utah! I have been excited to go to Uah since i first got here and i have patiently waited in line...byw this is how the line goes (mom, vanessa, mom, vanessa, mom..) you get the point. I want to see my friends and family so much! I am thinking im gonna be playin with Bridger alot! And i cant wait to spend time with my friends just like before, it will be so great
So i dont have too much planned, im just going to be taking it day by day:) But i am going to get to see the Oqurih Mountain Temple, for the didication, and I am so excited:) Anyway i cant wait to see everyone:) bye til a week!

My Job..

I have been working at the Burger King for about 2 weeks now. It has been a great experience:) Im learning all the tricks of the trade and im catching on pretty fast! I usually only work about two times a week but thats just fine with me! I make 7. 23 an hour! not bad!

I have alot of the positions down. I can cook the food, i can fry the food, and i can put together the food!! (well im still learning that the mayo goes on the Big Fish and the special sauce goes on the Tendergrill... oh Dont forget the fried stuff has 2 tomatoes and the cooked only has one! Dont even get me started on witch bun goes with what! ugh its confusing:) But il get it! Obviously i know how to take out the trash and sweep and mop:) Im working today and i just cant wait!

I have only made one major mistake so far! I was in a rush and i pushed the burgers into the oven... I put together sone burgers and i cooked some more buns!.. i was wondering where the fresh burgers went and BAM i remembered....I forgot to turn on the timer haha:) well at least i wont make that mistake again!
